The appliance is meant to meld into the landscape of kitchen products. The shape of the case is defined by connecting a rectangle to a slot shape, speaking to the transformation that the ingredients go through in becoming frozen. Its white color and slim form gives the object a softness that's comfortable and inviting, while the narrow footprint allows it to easily fit in between other kitchen appliances. The slot shaped handle on the front is familiar and easy to raise up when placing the bowl inside. The back half of the machine is a large vent for cooling. We took great care in coming up with optimal perforations that perform well while remaining soothing to the eye. We also use stainless steel that’s effortless to clean, a callback to classic ice cream machines and their chromium look.
